Ridgewood NJ, U.S. News evaluated 99 hospitals in New Jersey. Thirteen meet high U.S. News standards and are ranked in the state. U.S. News also ranked hospitals in the New York and Philadelphia metro areas. There is a tie for number 1 hospital in New Jersey between Morristown Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center.

Governor Murphy Signs Legislation to Expand Civics Instruction in Schools

Ridgewood NJ,  Governor Phil Murphy today signed legislation (S854) requiring civics instruction at the middle school level. Currently, New Jersey is one of a minority of states which does not require civics instruction for middle school students. Under the legislation, the New Jersey Center for Civic Education at Rutgers University will be directed to prepare civics curriculum guidelines for local school boards, ensuring that middle and high school students study the values and principles underlying the American system of constitutional democracy, the function of government, and the role of a citizen in a democratic society.

Bruck today announced that the Bureau of Securities has issued a Summary Cease and Desist Order to stop a financial services company based in Jersey City from selling unregistered securities in the form of interest-earning cryptocurrency accounts that have raised at least $14.7 billion worldwide.

Ridgewood NJ, Patrolman Andrew Van Dyke was sworn on on July 14th 2021 by Mayor Susan Knudsen during the Village council meeting while his mother Patricia and sister Victoria held the Bible. Officer Van Dyke graduated the Bergen County Police Academy in June and is currently in the police departments field training program.
