Trenton NJ, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has announced a commercial vehicle travel restriction on multiple interstate highways, effective Saturday, February 8, at 3 p.m. This restriction comes as a significant winter storm is forecasted to bring snow, sleet, and ice across the state, creating hazardous travel conditions.

Ridgewood NJ, the National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON . Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total combined snow and sleet accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an inch.

Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York. Primarily Western Passaic and Western Bergen Counties . From Thursday evening 10 pm through 1 pm Friday afternoon. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact mainly the Friday morning and evening commutes.
