Ridgewood NJ, the National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON. Snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches. All of northeast New Jersey. Until 1 PM EST this afternoon. Plan on slippery road conditions.

Thanks to yesterday’s potent cold front, temperatures will be much colder today than felt over the past couple days. A weak low heading northeast from the Appalachia’s will pass well offshore and bring up to a few inches of snow.

Ice accumulations of a light glaze, with little to no snow accumulation. Effecting portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York. Today until 3 PM EST this afternoon. Slippery road conditions resulted in numerous motor vehicle crashes in the Village of Ridgewood on Sunday evening

Ridgewood NJ, Slippery road conditions resulted in numerous motor vehicle crashes in the Village of Ridgewood on Sunday evening, 12/11 including this crash on Glenwood Road in which the driver of an Acura MDX lost control of his vehicle and hit a retaining wall as he was driving eastbound toward the Ho-Ho-Kus train station. No injuries were reported in the incident, although a passenger’s side air bag did deploy. Ridgewood PD and EMS responded. The damaged vehicle was removed by a flatbed tow truck. Glenwood Road remained closed between Upper Boulevard and the Ho-Ho-Kus train station until road conditions improved.
