Ridgewood NJ, its an election year and U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer visited Ridgewood today to announce a new effort to restore the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction and lower taxes for New Jersey residents. Giving Trenton more room to spend, waste and tax. (Yes, they are standing in front of the Village’s “salt shed.”)

Ridgewood Water is Once Again in Violation of Two New Jersey Drinking Water Standards

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Water is once again in violation of two New Jersey drinking water standards . Ridgewood Water exceeded the PFOS at 13 parts per trillion and PFOA at 14 parts per trillion mandated MCL safety limit. An MCL is the highest allowable concentration of a contaminant in water delivered to a user of a public drinking water supply. (Milligrams per liter)MCLs apply to public water systems, including public community and public nontransient noncommunity water systems. Public community and public nontransient noncommunity water systems are required to routinely monitor for contaminants for which MCLs have been established and to take any action necessary to bring the water into compliance with an MCL.

Wyckoff Home of U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer Hit With Protests

Wyckoff NJ, several police departments from Bergen and Passaic Counties along with officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office assisted Wyckoff Police in the arrest of approximately 12 protestors at the Wyckoff home of U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer on Monday afternoon, 10/18. Those arrested were allegedly trespassing on private property owned by the Congressman and his spouse. No injuries were reported by any officers or protestors at the scene.

Gottheimer Highlights North Jersey’s Role in Revolutionary Era and Calls for Increased Promotion of Historic Sites to Boost Tourism

HO-HO-KUS NJ, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer, in celebration of Independence Day this week, stood within the Crossroads of the American Revolution to highlight New Jersey’s rich history and the importance of investing in developing North Jersey’s tourism economy and in preserving historical sites.

Gottheimer, joined by local historic preservation leaders and reenactors, visited the Hermitage Museum today, the home of Theodosia Bartow Prevost, which hosted revolutionaries including Alexander Hamilton, the Marquis de Lafayette, and New Jersey’s own Aaron Burr. George Washington also used the home as a headquarters.
