Upper Saddle River NJ, the Upper Saddle River Fire Department announced the line of duty death of Firefighter Alex Moss on Sunday. Moss, 54, served as a firefighter for more than 30 years.

Upper Saddle River NJ, just a little after 4:30 this afternoon, Upper Saddle River Fire Department was requested to a home on Hillside Avenue for a reported structure fire. First arriving Fire Department and Upper Saddle River Police units found heavy fire in a residential structure. The fire was brought under control about 2.5 hours after dispatch.

Upper Saddle River NJ, this past Wednesday night, Patrolman Timothy Erstling was honored with the meritorious service award at the J. Fletcher Creamer Sr. Valor Awards Dinner hosted by The 200 Club of Bergen County. In February of 2022, Officer Erstling rescued a victim of a motor vehicle accident who was trapped in his burning vehicle after it crashed.

Most recently, AHA sophomore Elise Tao earned Best Delegate (first place) honors at the Yale MUN Conference for her work as a member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization committee. Over 2,000 delegates from 200 schools around the globe participated in the four-day Yale event. Tao placed first out of more than 30 delegates in her committee.
