Welcome to Ridgewood : Village Council Election , Master Plan Vote , and School Budget

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Planning Board Board agreed to carry the vote for the New Master Plan to the planning board meeting set for October 4th. The October 4th vote conflicts with the Yom Kippur holiday and this prompted the board to consider moving the vote to October 18 if necessary.

Ridgewood NJ, Deputy Mayor Michael Sedon announced his resignation as a member of Ridgewood Village Council and Wednesday evening’s meeting. Mayor Susan Knudsen moved for the appointment of Councilperson Pamela Perron as the new deputy mayor effective immediately. Sedon served on the Ridgewood Shade Tree Commission, Sustainable Jersey, and Green Ridgewood.

VILLAGE OF RIDGEWOOD NOMINATING PACKETS AVAILABLE FOR RIDGEWOOD VILLAGE COUNCIL

Ridgewood NJ, nominating packets are available for Ridgewood residents who are registered voters and wish to run for and serve on the Ridgewood Village Council. They may be picked up at the Village Clerk’s Office in Village Hall, 131 North Maple Avenue, during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. The deadline for filing completed nominating petitions is September 6, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
