Reader asks can every vote in which they both participated be nullified?

02

No quickies, though. Restoring her hair and makeup before reappearing in public would take at least an hour. He doesn’t have enough hair to worry about.

Rurik, Roberta, Hans the Nazi-blog-accuser, Jan the I’m-more-ethical-and-moral-than you, and all the rest who attacked honest council members: what do you think of your ethical and moral leaders now?

Well, other readers can watch, imagine, deplore, puke, and/or get off on the bedroom-related shenanigans. More important: can every vote in which they both participated be nullified?

Reader says I am writing to say how ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS the water at Graydon Pool was this summer.

Graydon Pool Ridgewood

I also believe Daniel Cramblitt, Assistant Superintendent of the Park and Shade Tree Department, should be commended for the SPARKLING CLEAN water at Graydon this summer! His turning over of the sand to kill algae spores and prevent algae growth, a new chlorine pump, and the fact that he was at the pool often to inspect, supervise, and answer questions, made a HUGE difference in the water quality! It seemed to have brought in more people this season as well!

the fly has learned that two former council members have been romantically linked……..

fly-on-wall_theridgewoodblog

…the fly has learned that two former council members have been romantically linked .  Its seems affairs of state have led to affairs of the heart. Sadly, the relationship appears to have led to the breakup of both marriages  . During business hours the couple would meet . The affair has driven one husband to flee the Village to a Jersey City condo and a wife to leave with the dogs . It’s been told that the husband laid a video trap and may have engaged a private detective to trail the couple , leaving both in sad state looking worse for the wear.

Ridgewood Water Gives Comprehensive Report keeping our water safe and is complying with EPA guidelines

Jeff Voigt Ridgewood Council

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, Last night at the Village Council meeting, Rich Calbi gave an outstanding (and comprehensive) report on how the Water Company is keeping our water safe and is complying with (and exceeding) EPA guidelines.  He is a great guy, very thorough and although he was speaking about scientific details, it was easy to understand.  Also, it is very helpful that the powerpoint slides are broadcast on the live stream to us at home.  I have been at meetings where you cannot even begin to see what is projected on those relatively small screens.  Thank you Mr. Calbi for your hard work on our behalf.

Ridgewood NJ, On Labor Day I was at Graydon late in the afternoon. The water was beautiful, the weather was spectacular, the snack bar was humming, there were lots and lots of people swimming and on the sand. It was, in a (hyphenated) word, picture-perfect.

Reader says I have never seen the Duck Pond look worse than I have seen it now

duckpond_theridgewoodblog

I grew up with the Duck Pond being partially raised in the village and I have never seen the condition of the park, specifically the pond, look worse than I have seen it now. It looks as if the county and or the town or whoever takes care of the Duck Pond has lost interest and doesn’t really care. The accumulation of algae this year is horrible to the point where I believe it could be toxic with the odor alone. Signs are posted at the Glen Rock park and pond location in Glen Rock, also run by the county, which warn of a toxic algae accumulation in their pond, which looks mild by comparison to the Duck Pond situation, where the smell is putrid to the point where it almost made me vomit. Don’t believe me, go to the Duck Pond as of August 25, 2018. Doesn’t anybody give a shit?
