Ridgewood NJ, recently there has been a renewed push of disinformation as to the defunding of the Per Diem EMT Program . To set the matter straight the Ridgewood is re-posting the May 10, 2021 article recounting all the FACTS in detail . For the record this blog has always been a big fan of the volunteer EMT’s in the Village of Ridgewood , but certain agenda pushing residents have tried to use this event to further their own aims ,distort the public record and hurt Ridgewood Emergency Services Reputation.

Unfortunately  candidates  Winograd and Weitz driven by special interests have opted to engage in a disinformation campaign in an attempt to misinform voters .

NBA All-Star Kevin Durant is the latest athlete to buy a Major League Pickleball team

Ridgewood NJ, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is the latest celebrity athlete taking his love of pickleball big league. The NBA All-Star and his business partner Rich Kleiman announced Thursday that their firm, Thirty Five Ventures (35V), has purchased Major League Pickleball’s newest expansion team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Barrymore Film Center Open in Fort Lee

Fort Lee NJ, Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee, opened October 21st after two years of COVID-related delays. The center is a museum , a 267-seat repertory film theater, and reception space but mostly it’s a tribute to Fort Lee’s role in the birthplace of the movie industry.

Teaneck NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of RAESHONN CORBO (DOB: 7/18/1992; single; unemployed) of Teaneck, NJ on aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glenn O’Reilly.

Demarest NJ, Golfer Olivia Lee of Closter says that competing in the National PGA Junior League Championship with her team was the most amazing experience of her life.

“It was so much fun meeting people from all over the country, and I learned so much from my team and about myself as a person/player,” said Lee, a member of the Class of 2026 at the Academy of the Holy Angels. “It was also cool to really be able to bond with my teammates in a way that I hadn’t before.”
