Ridgewood NJ, Middle East and North Africa-based users received $566 billion in cryptocurrency between July 2021 and July 2022. The region is the fastest-growing market for crypto adoption in the world. Egypt saw the largest increase in usage, with crypto transaction volume more than tripling compared to the previous period. Turkey, which experienced 80.5% inflation in the last year, accounted for $192 billion out of the $566 billion, the largest share by one single country in the region.

An Experimental Treatment to Cure HIV Targets the Genome

Ridgewood NJ, Scientists will soon see the results of an experimental HIV treatment that uses CRISPR technology. The treatment is a one-time infusion that takes an hour to administer. It targets regions in the HIV genome important for viral replication. A man with HIV received the treatment in July. He will soon stop taking his antiretroviral drugs to see if the treatment was a success.

UPDATE: Village of Ridgewood Time Limit for the Removal of Political Signs ,Point of Contention

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Village Council have decided not to tweak  the municipal law regulating election signs .The local law imposes time limits, ” all campaign signs must be removed no later than 20 days after the General Election.” The time limit for the removal of political signs is the point of contention.

New Milford Man Charged with Distribution and Possession of Child Porn

New Milford NJ, a Bergen County  man was arrested for distributing and possessing videos of child sexual abuse, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced today.

Michael Kimmerle, 34, of New Milford, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He appeared Oct. 6, 2022, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jessica S. Allen and was released on $100,000 unsecured bond.

Hindu Americans Call for Disbandment of Teaneck Democratic Municipal Committee

Love is one of the most powerful and mysterious emotions in the world. It can make people do crazy things, and it often seems to defy reason. But what is love, really? And how do we choose our partners?

Triangular theory of love

The Triangular Theory of Love is a theory that claims that human beings can love one another in different ways. This theory proposes that love is composed of three distinct elements: emotional intimacy, commitment, and passion. The latter two components are considered less stable and predictable than the former two. According to Sternberg’s theory, humans can love each other to the extent that they exhibit evidence of two or more of these components. However, different combinations of these components will produce different kinds of love. In this way, there are at least eight types of love.
