After delays due to COVID-19, The Ridgewood Conservatory will resume its Vocal Workshop for Young Beginners on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Created specifically for children ages 6-9, this delightful workshop will have budding vocalists take the first steps towards becoming successful singers. Students learn their scales and solfege, proper vocal technique, breath management and rhythm – all while having fun singing a range of classic and current tunes!

Uber to create travel ‘superapp’ by adding planes, trains, and rental cars

Ridgewood NJ, Uber plans to add trains, buses, planes, and car rentals to its UK app this year. It will expand these services to other countries if the test goes well. The company is aiming to become a one-stop shop for all travel needs. It plans to add hotel bookings in the future. Uber recently secured a 30-month license to continue operating in London after a battle with city regulators over its ride-hailing app.

Ridgewood NJ, heavy rain fell over North Jersey on Thursday night, leading to flooding and water rescues as high water levels still trouble the region. Ridgewood experienced the usual issues along the Ho-Ho-Kus Brook . Both the Ridgewood High School field and Veterans Field along with the Ridgewood Municipal complex flooded . No word on damages yet and no injuries reported .
