Little Ferry Sales Associate Charged in Sexual Assault of a Child

Little Ferry NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of RHUELLAH RILEY (DOB: 4/09/1999; single; sales associate) of Little Ferry, NJ, on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, sexual assault by contact, and endangering the welfare of a child.  The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Little Ferry Police Department under the direction of Chief James Walters.

The first lecture in the series will take place on Wednesday, September 13th at 7pm in the One Bergen County Plaza 4th Floor Learning Center in Hackensack, NJ.

Last year, casinos in Ontario saw suspicious transactions of over $350 million. If the government wants to keep bad money out of its gaming establishments, critics say that this trend has to be urgently addressed.

Ridgewood NJ, a Mercedes sedan was rear ended by a Jeep on westbound East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood near the Saddle River County Park Wild Duck Pond early Wednesday morning, 09/13. The impact resulted in the Jeep veering off of the roadway and crashing into a box housing communications & electrical equipment. No injuries were reported in the mishap. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Paramus Police assisted Ridgewood Police with traffic control and Ridgewood firefighters attended to a crash related fluid spill.

6 People Arrested During Offshore Wind Farm Protest in Ocean City

Ocean City NJ, six protesters were arrested on Tuesday afternoon for interfering with workers prepping an area for offshore wind farms in Ocean City. The protest was against the surveys for Orsted’s Offshore Wind farms.

Today’s actions relate to updated mRNA vaccines for 2023-2024 manufactured by ModernaTX Inc. and Pfizer Inc. Consistent with the totality of the evidence and input from the FDA’s expert advisors, these vaccines have been updated to include a monovalent (single) component that corresponds to the Omicron variant XBB.1.5.

Washington DC, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) rose 0.6 percent in August on a seasonally adjusted basis, after increasing 0.2 percent in July, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Road Construction Triggers Power Outage in Twp. of Washington

Twp. of Washington NJ, a power outage in the area of Jacob Road and Horizon Court stemming from road construction in the area.  PSE&G was aware of the outage and had the issue resolved by 9:00pm Tuesday evening.  Slight traffic delays in the area were experienced while crews work to rectify the issue.

Historic David Baldwin House in Midland Park Slated for Demolition

Midland Park NJ, it appears that the David Baldwin House located at 60 Lake Avenue, Midland Park, is slated for demolition . The house was built in 1838. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983. David Baldwin was an engineer and inventor who patented various machines from the 1830s to 1870s.

Brick Wall at Hawthorne High School Collapses

Hawthorne NJ, on Tuesday afternoon  there was  a partial collapse of a parapet wall at Hawthorne High School. No injuries have been reported and we don’t have information as to the cause but Fire crews were on scene securing the site.

Three (3) parked vehicles were damaged when portions of a west facing wall of Hawthorne High School collapsed and fell to a nearby sidewalk and roadway late Tuesday afternoon, 09/12. Fortunately, no one was injured in the mishap; students had already been dismissed for the day and the affected portions of the building were unoccupied. Hawthorne firefighters used a gas powered saw and hand tools to remove several remaining of the wall that were identified as being unstable. School will resume as scheduled on Wednesday, 09/13. However, several top floor classrooms may be cordoned off for safety reasons. Hawthorne Police, the Hawthorne Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and Hawthorne EMS also responded to the incident.
