Fair Lawn NJ, the lone passenger in an older model BMW convertible sustained non-life threatening injuries in a Thursday afternoon, 02/23 Fair Lawn crash. The BMW’s driver, who was uninjured in the mishap, told Fair Lawn Police officers that he’d been run off of the road and into a utility pole by another driver. Police at the scene were observed questioning the driver of a damaged Mercedes SUV about the incident. No summonses appeared to have been issued on the scene, and the Mercedes was able to have been driven away on its own power. A flatbed tow truck removed the heavily damaged BMW. Members of the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad attended to a crash related fluid spill. A County of Bergen OEM ambulance transported the injured passenger to a local hospital.
