Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department Dispatched to a Home on Meadowbrook Road for Eclectic Scooter Fire

Wyckoff NJ, the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Meadowbrook Road for a reported basement fire. Upon the crews arrival, it was determined to be a fire in the garage of the home. A second alarm assignment was transmitted. The fire was knocked down with minimal extension. Thank you to the mutual aid that responded to the scene or provided coverage.

According to sources the blaze was caused by lithium-ion batteries in an electric scooter.
