Ridgewood Performing Arts Center

We already have a Ridgewood Performing Arts Center. We don’t need another.

About RPAC

RPAC opened its doors in the Fall of 2006. The school was started by Alexia Hess-Sheehan and Amy Armbruster to fill the need for a multi-disciplinary dance facility that was both professional in its approach and that was made up of some of the best dance teachers in the New York Tri-State area.

Our highly qualified and supportive teachers inspire and work with every student on the importance of proper technique, giving them a strong foundation from which they can pursue their individual goals in dance.

  1. Check that off the list of things to build.

  2. Library board has worked on this for years and is adamant. Must be approached directly or this is likely to happen. Council must not cede the land adjacent to the library for additional building in a flood zone, period.

  3. Seems kind of ridiculous for this business to be making the argument that there is no need for Ridgewood to offer anything that would compete with their business. Maybe Bookends should argue there is no need for the library.

  4. This business never argued that . That was an anonymous private citizen . To the contrary , it is so difficult to find a theater to perform in , this studio would be on the top of the list to support an Arts Center .
