Two Bodies Discovered in Rochelle Park Home

Rochelle Park NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the following information on the bodies discovered in a Rochelle Park home :
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, Rochelle Park Police responded to 44 Schlosser Drive after receiving a 9-1-1 call that there were two unconscious individuals found in the residence. Responding officers located two deceased individuals, 43-year-old Marcos Gagnon and his ex-wife, 35-year-old Mandy Staples, on the second floor of the residence. A cause of death has not yet been determined.
An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Jason Love, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and the Rochelle Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Dean Pinto. No additional information is available at this time, but the incident appears to be isolated.

Bergen County Jail To Take Custody of all Passaic County Inmates in Shared Service Agreement

Hackensack NJ, Officials from the Counties of Bergen and Passaic have reached terms to a new agreement where the Bergen County Jail, will soon assume the care and custody of all Passaic County inmates. The deal builds upon a temporary measure adopted by both administrations this past November that allowed Passaic to transfer 200 inmates to the Bergen County Jail to alleviate additional strains brought on by COVID-19.

The grant will provide 75% of total funding for the construction of a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) School here in Bergen County which will bridge the gap between high school and postsecondary plans, providing a versatile curriculum that prepares students for their next step, whether it is a trade apprenticeship program, a two-year college, or four-year college.

CAMPBELL (DOB: 8/03/1990; single; security guard) of 1138 Easton Street, Orlando, Florida on charges of endangering welfare of a child, distribution of child pornography, sexual assault, extortion, debauching the morals of a child, and terroristic threats. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
