Point Pleasant NJ, according to NJ Transit a teen died after being struck by a NJ Transit train in Point Pleasant Beach on Sunday afternoon. NJ Transit says a train that departed Long Branch shortly after 3:45 p.m. that was bound for Bay Head struck the child at the Forman Avenue crossing.

Callahan of the New Jersey State Police was featured on News 12 to dispel the rumor that a ticket blitz by the State Police would occur where fines for summons would be increased.
