Ridgewood High School Alumni Association Celebrates the Class of 2022

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood High School Alumni Association Celebrates the Class of 2022 . At sunrise , a group of RHS Alumni Association (RHSAA) Trustees, RHS Principal, Jeff Nyhuis, RHS Assistant Principal, Basil Pizzuto, RHS 12th Grade Advisor, Meg Schaefer, RPS Public Information Officer, Charlene Labenda, Bergen County Commissioner, Ramon Hache (RHS ’91), PG ‘22 Chairs and Committee Chairs, RHS Lacrosse parents, friends and family members all came together to hang 470 maroon and white senior banners.  These banners were hung throughout our beautiful Village to highlight, to recognize and to celebrate each member of the RHS Class of 2022.

Ridgewood Schools Alternative Schedules Initiative( Late Start) Survey has Received Over 1000 Responses so Far

Ridgewood Nj, according to Dr. Thomas A. Gorman, Superintendent of Schools ,the Alternative Schedules Initiative( Late Start) survey was launched last Friday, and there have been approximately 1,000 responses. Community members can access the survey from the district website, and the survey will close on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Ridgewood NJ, the Village Council is looking for residents who are interested in volunteering to serve on the following Boards and Committees: The Central Business District Advisory Committee (there are two openings for Ridgewood business owners in the Central Business District), The Ridgewood Community Center Advisory Board (there are two openings: one position is for a Ridgewood resident with a child in the Ridgewood School system and the other position is for a Ridgewood Adult resident), Project Pride, The Ridgewood Arts Council, and Green Ridgewood.

On Monday, July 4, 2022, we’re excited to welcome MANY ALUMNI for the first of many events celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the RHS Band Program. Come march with the band in the Ridgewood July 4 Parade or come hang out at our Family BBQ on the front lawn of RHS. We hope YOU can join us. Intelligent.com Survey Finds 36 Percent of College Students Might Drop Out of School by the Fall Semester

The current job market and academic uncertainty are leading reasons for the possible decline in enrollment among American undergraduate students

Ridgewood NJ,  Intelligent.com, a trusted resource for online degree rankings and higher education planning, has published a survey report that examines expected college re-enrollment rates for fall 2022. The study highlights several factors influencing how many students will return to school or drop out for the new semester. Research experts surveyed 1,250 current undergraduate students expected to graduate in 2023 or after.

According to the report, 17 percent of students say they will not enroll in school, and 19 percent are unsure about their education plans for fall 2022. Students who started college in 2018 or earlier are most likely to drop out, with 22 percent of these students saying they don’t plan on returning in the fall. By comparison, only 12 percent of current freshmen don’t anticipate re-enrolling for the fall 2022 term.
