NJSIAA announces individual wrestling tournament plans for COVID-shortened season

Ridgewood NJ,  In a memo to member schools, the NJSIAA has shared plans for a streamlined, state individual wrestling tournament for both girls and boys. Because the 2021 wrestling season has been so impacted by COVID, there will be no district-level competition – instead, the tournament will begin at the regional level, on April 3 for girls and on April 17 and 18 for boys. No team tournament will be held this season.

New Jersey Expands Eligibility for New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program

Ridgewood NJ,  Governor Murphy today announced the expansion of eligibility for more frontline essential workers and high-risk groups in New Jersey’s COVID-19 vaccination program. Eligible groups include educators and staff in pre-k through 12th grade settings, childcare workers, and transportation workers, among others.

University of Florida Study : Schools can Implement Testing Protocols to Promote In-person learning while effectively mitigating transmission risk

Ridgewood NJ,  a study conducted by the University of Florida and the Florida Department of Healthpublished in JAMA, investigated the impact of student quarantine and testing protocols at K-12 schools in Alachua County, Florida. Data indicate that the COVID-19 incubation period in children is 6 to 7 days, shorter than the 4 to 5 days in adults. The county implemented 14-day self-quarantine for students exposed to known COVID-19 cases, and students were allowed to return to school early if they received a negative RT-PCR diagnostic test on Day 9 or later.

Ridgewood NJ, is the new “Third Culture People (3CP)”, “White Fragility” , DEI initiative just more anti-white agenda wrapped up in a bow  of “diversity”?  Several readers have began to seriously question Ridgewood Schools ability to educate promoting this overtly racist agenda ,especially after this summers attacks on the Ridgewood Police Department  and seeming endless protests with little or no positive action or honest intellectual discussion and worse the blatant bigoted attack on the two non white Ridgewood School board members .

Yet according to comments on a recent Ridgewood blog post, “Observations about the Ridgewood Infant Toddler Daycare Center (ITDC) controversy”  many Ridgewood teachers feel very entitled to subsidized daycare in Ridgewood.

Governor Murphy Clarifies Procedures for Upcoming School District Elections
