Saddle River Nj, early this morning The Saddle River Fire Department responded to a single car motor vehicle crash involving power lines on the East Road. Saddle River Fire Department units 1131,1141,1130,1140,1151, mitigated the scene by securing the area and turning the scene over to Orange and Rockland Power for the utility repairs. No injuries reported .

Saddle River NJ, Saddle River proudly hosted its first Car Show on October 8th and everyone was cordially invited. The event received a great response from Saddle River and the neighboring towns!
The event was sponsored by Saddle River PBA Local 348, Saddle River Police Department, and Saddle River Fire Department! The Saddle River Borough staff and Special Events Committee members
did a great with the event! Several people received trophies for their unique classic cars, and Mayor Al Kurpis delivered awards!

Saddle River NJ, the Saddle River Fire Department was called into action Wednesday morning when a car carrier loaded with hybrids caught fire on Route 17 North , causing some major morning backups. Saddle River Fire Department Engine 1131, Tanker 1134, Ladder 1141 and Engine 1133 worked the scene . A mutual aid Tanker 1233 was called from Upper Saddle River Fire Department.

Saddle River NJ, a late Friday morning, 09/09, motor vehicle stop by a Saddle River Police patrol officer yielded a cache of illicit drugs, along with an automatic handgun equipped with a high capacity magazine, all found hidden in a small SUV tightly packed with clothing and dozens of other personal items. Saddle River Police enlisted the aid of a Waldwick Police patrol unit, and a K-9 Unit from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a thorough search the older model Honda CRV with Alabama license plates that was pulled over by their officer on a side street off of Route 17 southbound in Waldwick.

The six works featured at Paul Larsen Gallery will showcase portraits of subjects ranging in age and familiarity, each one capturing a particular energy and moment in its own unique atmosphere. Most works are done in oil and egg tempera paint on canvas. They will be on view through October 22nd, 2022.

Saddle Brook NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of ALLEN ERNST (DOB: 07/18/1994; single; unemployed) of Garfield, NJ; KARINA EREMYAN (DOB: 04/01/1991; single; unemployed) of Fair Lawn, NJ; and ANTONIO BOWEN (DOB: 11/04/1993; single; currently incarcerated) on charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Saddle Brook Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain John Zotollo.

Saddle River NJ, Saddle River Police Department has issued a Traffic Alert! West Saddle River Road will be closed in both directions at Dater lane until further notice. Recent heavy rains have undermined the road causing a significant collapse under the steel plates. Bergen County has responded to barricade the roadway and prepare for reconstruction. This project will take many months and the road will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Due to the hazards, large fencing will be established for safety reasons to prevent anyone from walking into the work zone.
