Twp. of Washington NJ, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 and Wednesday, November 29, 2023, the Bergen County Road Department will be applying a high friction surface treatment to Washington Avenue (weather permitting) between Pascack Road and Meisten Street. The purpose of this is to enhance the safety of vehicular traffic travelling on this roadway. The following is a schedule and description of road closures:

Implementing the contemplated restructuring plan will significantly reduce the Company’s debt, increase its financial flexibility and enable it to execute on key initiatives. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have announced a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at approximately 2 – 2:30 p.m. ET. Never let solicitors inside your home. Calmly but firmly tell the solicitors you are not interested and tell them to leave your property. If they refuse your instructions call the police immediately. If they are soliciting for paving, they MUST have a permit.

PSE&G was aware of the outage and had the issue resolved by 9:00pm Tuesday evening. Slight traffic delays in the area were experienced while crews work to rectify the issue.
