Ridgewood Nj, please join us for the Ridgewood Friends of Music Annual Concert on Friday, Jan. 26th at 7:00 pm at GW Middle School, which will feature professional musicians from Ridgewood and surrounding towns. As always, many musical styles will be performed, and the proceeds help support the music programs in our public schools. This includes helping to offset the rental of West Side Presbyterian Church for the high school spring concerts.

Village Manager Says Flooding Problem is Bigger than Village of Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, the Village Manager Keith Kazmark said in Wednesday nights council meeting , “Our community experienced significant flooding this week for the for the third time in just over a three-month period. The Village has prioritized these concerns and has engaged the US Army Corps. of Engineers and the NJ DEP as we seek Federal and State support for flood mitigation. We must protect residential properties and both Village and Board of Education assets. I addressed this topic at the Village Council meeting last night.”

Ridgewood NJ, no one was injured and property damage was minimal when a towering tree toppled from the property of a single family home onto North Monroe Street, Ridgewood just after 12 noon on Wednesday, 01/10. Ridgewood Police, Ridgewood Fire Department, Ridgewood Emergency Services, and Village of Ridgewood Shade Tree Division personnel responded to the incident.

NJ Democrat Senator Bob Menendez Files Motion to Dismiss Indictment

Ridgewood NJ, Senator Bob Menendez, a Democrat from New Jersey, has filed a motion on Wednesday seeking the dismissal of charges accusing him of bribery and acting as a foreign agent. In a statement, Menendez’s lawyer, Adam Fee, argued that the charges are unconstitutional and the motion was filed to expose the alleged fundamental flaws in the government’s case.
