the fly a new face has entered Ridgewood Politics

fly-on-wall_theridgewoodblog

…..the fly has heard that a not so new face , new face was introduced to Ridgewood Politics. At a recent gathering hosted by the Siobhan Winograd and the Halaby’s at Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club, the new face of the toxic trio  was resident Alexandra Harwin. Harwin has the support of the “toxic trio” or the “3 amigos” known as Gwen Hauk , Paul Aronsohn and Albert Pucciarelli. This is the first time anyone has seen Albert Pucciarelli since the three were driven from office .Others in attendance were rumored council candidate Paul ” the wall “Vagianos . Who’s own candidacy is a bit controversial given the current social environment. Former Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld was also in attendance .Local observers have called the “3 amigo” endorsement the “kiss of death “. Noticeably absent was Councilmen Jeff Voigt who’s antics on the dais have endeared him to many local town folk.

Reader says He is the biggest liar in town

Councilmen Voigt is the biggest liar in town. Lied to friends and neighbors faces. He should be ashamed and his family embarrasses. I would die if he was my dad or husband. But he doesn’t seem to care about anyone !

And he claims to be a numbers guy and aware of town finances. Maybe he should take a second and look at the waste of tax payers dollars at his beloved Healthbarn.
$3800 a month for 6 years. No annual increase!! Use of 11 acres for the businesses own private profit. Maintenance done by parks and rec constantly, security, lights 12 parking spots ( what is that worth in Voight world). And of course the horrible looking garden. What a disaster that was!! A waste of all of our tax dollars. They also offer classes that directly compete with parks and rec programs and other businesses owned by Ridgewood tax payers. So disappointing for the town to allow this in a park!

Does anyone really know what goes on there??? I would love to know. I see the lot full to capacity many times a week, busses coming and going all day long chartered busses lingering and idling on hillcrest. Loud parties on the back porch. Other parties that must be very private because the curtains are closed tightly those evenings!! Why all the security?? What is going on since this business came to the park ???

We all know Jeff and friends go there. He actually hosted a party there that had alcohol. Is that healthy living ?? Were there kids there learning healthy eating habits during this? That’s what was presented to the council at the meeting 2 years ago. The use was changed to educational and recreational. Is this the ” new recreation”?
Oh Jeff and friends when will it end?

Councilmen Jeff Voigt continues to sink his political career

Jeff Voigt Ridgewood Council

Ridgewood NJ, Councilmen Jeff Voigt continues to sink his political career , Despite the Councilmen s claims of “bullying” in a recent letter: Bullying behavior by elected officials?https://www.northjersey.com/story/opinion/readers/2017/06/12/ridgewoodletter-bullying-behavior-elected-officials/389482001/

The fact is the Open Public Records Act Designed to shine a light on the individual agendas of elected officials such as yourself Mr. Voigt. Remember you are a public SERVANT meaning you work for us. OPRA is a simply way for the public to keep an eye on the special interest agenda, back dealing that controls so much of New Jersey politics.

Funny how Voigt refers to “the mayor’s supporters.” All these people supported Voigt and the Mayor did, too. She had his sign in her front yard and campaigned for him. Looks like a boatload of people got fooled by him. What a crummy person he turned out to be. So nasty, paranoid, and not doing a single thing he campaigned to do. He was dead set against the garage, now he pushes for it. he was dead set against the nastiness of Arnonsohn and company, now he personifies it. he was dead set against underhanded dealings, now he is in bed with the press. he was an advocate for the people, now he is vilifying the citizens.

Bergen Record down the “rabbit hole” with Councilmen Jeff Voigt

mad hatter

May 29,2017

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, once again it looks like the Bergen Record has picked sides and gone down the “rabbit hole” with Councilmen Jeff Voigt and the 3 amigos . In a recent article ,”Email search exposes distrust among Ridgewood council members” ( https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/bergen/ridgewood/2017/05/27/email-search-exposes-distrust-among-ridgewood-council-members/343478001/ ) the Record clearly with the help of former Mayor Paul Aronsohn attempts to miscast the Villages version of the “Mad Hatter” Councilmen Voigt as a victim in the latest OPRA conspiracy .

Aronsohn’s failed political exploits have left him with little room to maneuver, and lots of favors that need repaying ,yet he can still call the Bergen Record his friend . The new owners seems to have fallen for the same nonsense the destroyed the papers credibility in the past.  The ridiculous one sided article tries to paint Jeff and his two supporters in town as the victims of an organized effort to harass him with OPRA requests . As usually the Record takes the side of another failed politician over the wishes of the taxpayers and residents .

Residents and taxpayers have every right to OPRA politicians emails period and it both offensive and totally dishonest to suggest otherwise . The reality is like Aronsohn’s 3 Amiogos administration Voight was caught red handed actively undermining his colleagues . It was poor judgement on his part and poorer judgement for the Bergen Record to consort with a 3 times political loser like Aronsohn .

Reader says We’ve all learned a valuable lesson that taxpayers get screwed far more at the local level than at the Federal level others not so sure

village council meeting

Let’s just hope that residents don’t fall into the slumber again that allowed these shysters to get where they did. We’ve all learned a valuable lesson that taxpayers get screwed far more at the local level than at the Federal level.

“Let’s just hope residents don’t fall into the slumber again”…that’s pretty funny. Aside from the usual social gadflys that rattle about everyone else is and will always be in a slumber. Don’t you get it? That’s exactly the way the union thugs want it and 90 % of the dopes in Ridgewood are more than happy to oblige. Nobody cares….

Ridgewood NJ,  The council meeting was business like and everyone was respected.  People are now allowed to ask questions and the new council actually answered. It is amazingly difference from when Aronsohn ruled and they all stared at the speakers or, worse yet, they attacked the speakers.

A couple of people spoke happily about 3066 being repealed.  It will not be finally repealed until the August public meeting.

A man spoke about fixing Kings Pond and it sounds like that will happen . Susan has already put money in the budget to finance that. Saurabh asked and asked about the supposed $60,000 spent by Stacy Antine at Health Barn. Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld waffled on providing info and Boyd blasted her for this.

The swearing in of Chief Luthke was wonderful and the high point of the night The room was packed  standing room only.  There was much applause  and John Ward came and pinned his own stars on Jackie’s epaulets. The whole thing was very moving. The female chief from Bergenfield was in attendance as were three freeholders.

The only blemish on the event was that the unelected village manager as usual planted herself in the midst of the swearing in, where she has no right to be.  Someone needs to remind Ms. Sonenfeld that she needs to stay up on the dais as the other unelected members (Heather and Matt) do for proclamations and swearing-ins.
