Asbury Park NJ, The following editorial by Senator Robert Singer (R-30) was published by the Asbury Park Press on November 29, 2020:

New Jersey residents voted overwhelmingly in favor of a constitutional amendment to legalize the personal use of cannabis by adults. While the legislation to establish a legal market and regulatory scheme for marijuana was expected to be a slam dunk after the ballot measure was approved by a 2-to-1 margin, disagreements over a slew of concerns have caused the process to stall.

New Jersey is the ONLY State in the Nation to Ban Recyclable Paper Bags

Upper Saddle River NJ, Assemblywomen Holly Schepisi on the New Jersey’s paper bag ban , ” Yesterday New Jersey voted to ban PAPER BAGS. No one, including the sponsor of the bill, could explain why we are the ONLY State in the nation to ban recyclable paper bags other than “we are the most environmentally progressive State.” If that statement was true and if we truly wanted to stop environmental harm in this State why have the legislators and the Governor refused to move forward any legislation that would stop the massive overdevelopment taking place in each of our communities?”

Reader says, “it is a federal offense to employ someone who lacks the proper immigration status”

Murhy

“This so-called legislation is just vote winning puffery: any person wishing to work in the US still has to comply with Federal immigration laws.

Thus it is a federal offense to employ someone who lacks the proper immigration status, just as it is an offense to gain employment for an illegal alien. Ignorance of the law is no defense.

Besides being unlawful and unpatriotic, the Democrat’s are using illegals as cannon fodder to gain votes, and don’t care a jot about the fate of any illegals who work, or employers who employ them.

In any case, how on earth can anyone this bull was aimed at, legal or illegal, gain employment if the businesses are being strangled by Murphy et al?”

Reader says back to the , “broken window strategy”

“As much as I detest these nihilists, Marxists, agitators (call them anything but protesters) I don’t think billing organizers for police overtime is a viable solution. I also don’t want these people destroying parks. The solution is what’s called the broken window strategy. Get to the rally early and start making arrests for any real offense, however petty. This prevents any real unrest. This is the strategy that helped turn NYC around in the 1990s. It’s common sense and it works and Ridgewood should use it. And everyone should take note of the similarities between Ridgewood and Kenosha. Both in Democrat run states, both about 50 miles from a very large city and very similar demographics.”

Reader asks , if Trump is Suppressing the Mail ,Why aren’t Democrats going all out to insist on In Person Voting?

mailman_theridgewoodblog

Ok riddle me this….
.
Democrats are up in arms because “Trump is suppressing votes by handicapping the US Mail system”
.
SO…..
Why aren’t Democrats going all out to insist on In Person Voting and to ban Vote By Mail so they can bypass Trump’s “evil Postal plans” and ensure that there is no voter suppression?

.
Oh right… because its easier for Democrats to cheat with Vote By Mail.
