Mahwah NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of DIETER R. ZIMMERMANN (DOB: 10/02/1947; married; retired) of 27 Indian Field Court, Mahwah, NJ on charges of Murder, Possession Of A Weapon For An Unlawful Purpose and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and the Mahwah Police Department under the direction of Chief Stephen Jaffe.

In Mahwah Growing Bamboo Can Get You Fined

Mahwah NJ, the Township of Mahwah  has joined a growling list  of New Jersey municipalities  to pass an ordinance that limits new plantings of Bamboo to impervious above-ground planters or 30-inch-deep polypropylene-lined trenches .Neighbors and the township may also seek owner reimbursement for removing invasive bamboo, and violations of a township notice to clear the plantings will result in a fine of $1,000 per day the violation continues.

Mahwah  NJ, The New Jersey State Police have arrested two men after they led a trooper on a vehicle pursuit through two counties. Tyree Newell, 20, of Bridgeport, CT allegedly pointed a gun at the pursuing trooper as Theron Brown, 22, of Bridgeport, CT, sped away after an attempted motor vehicle stop.

NJ State Police Charge Woman with Attempted Murder of Ringwood Police Officers

Mahwah NJ,  The New Jersey State Police have charged Lakisha Maldonado, 30, of Leeds, AL, with attempted murder for allegedly firing a gun at Ringwood Borough police officers who were attempting to arrest her after a motor vehicle pursuit that ended on Interstate 287 in Mahwah Township, Bergen County.

Financial Firms Including the NYSE Consider Moving Out of New Jersey

Mahwah NJ, The New York Stock Exchange is signaling that it will move its electronic trading systems out of New Jersey if the state implements a Governor Murphy proposed tax on financial transactions. The NYSE said Friday that it will run one of its exchanges from a backup site in Chicago for a week as a demonstration of its readiness to quit the state, according to a notice sent to clients.
