Millstone NJ, The New Jersey State Police have charged six suspects and dismantled an auto theft ring in New Jersey and New York linked to the theft of more than 30 high-end vehicles worth more than $3 million during a seven-month investigation.
Ridgewood NJ, the New Jersey State Police has been made aware of numerous active shooter threats targeting various school districts throughout the state.
Mahwah NJ, a collision involving a rolled over dump truck reeked havoc for drivers on Route 287 northbound in Mahwah on Wednesday morning, 10/05. Mahwah firefighters were dispatched to the incident based on reports that the truck’s driver was entrapped in the vehicle. Basic and advanced EMS support was also dispatched to the scene. Motor vehicle traffic northbound near milepost 64.0 was restricted to one (1) lane while NJ State Police investigated the crash. No information was readily available regarding the extent of injuries sustained by the driver.

Point Pleasant NJ, on August 14, several troopers rescued 11 passengers from a sinking vessel in Point Pleasant, Ocean County.
At approximately 4:24p.m., Sergeant First Class Christopher Kochman, along with Troopers Michael Sugzda, Kristofer Buonomo, Francis Morris, and Luke Drazdik of Point Pleasant Station observed a vessel in distress in the Point Pleasant Canal.
Hamilton NJ, NJ state troopers from Troop “C” Hamilton Station responded to an animal complaint for 3 puppies that wandered off into the woods and fell into an irrigation trench approximately 10 feet underground.

Ridgewood Nj, Ridgewood Police once again held the Chief Michael Feeney Junior Police Academy . This was the 9th annual Ridgewood Police Department Chief Michael Feeney Jr Police Academy. The Academy ran from June 27th to July 1st. The mission of the junior police academy is for students to learn and experience what emergency services do while serving the community.

Ridgewood NJ, a late Monday afternoon, 06/27, dispute on a Greyhound bus heading southbound on Route 17 in Ridgewood, during which an adult male passenger allegedly threatened another man with a handgun, resulted in the arrest of an individual who was reportedly wanted in New York State for failure to pay child support. Several Ridgewood Police Patrol Officers and a pair of New Jersey State Police Troopers responded to the incident. Although a thorough body search of the person taken into custody by State Troopers, and a search of the bus, failed to produce a weapon, it is not known whether the detainee’s seized luggage was also searched at the scene, or whether such a search required a warrant. No injuries were reported in connection with the dispute.
Toms River NJ, on May 22, the Blue Knights Little League Baseball team presented Josie Manfre-Morey, niece of Trooper Werner Foerster, with a signed baseball from the team prior to their game against the North Wall Little League in Wall, N.J. The Blue Knights are from Toms River and each player honors the State Police by wearing on their uniform, the badge number of a trooper killed in the line of duty.
Trenton NJ, The New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit coordinated a two-day cooperative mobile deployment that led to five firearms recovered and the arrest of 17 fugitives in Mercer County. This deployment is part of a comprehensive initiative to reduce violent crime statewide.
Marlboro NJ, Governor Phil Murphy and Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin today announced a $10 million investment in automated license plate recognition (ALPR) technology to reduce violent crime and motor vehicle theft in New Jersey through the federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) State Fiscal Recovery Fund.
