Oradell NJ, Late Thursday night, the quiet of Oradell, NJ was interrupted by a motor vehicle accident at one of the town’s busiest junctions. The Oradell Fire Department was dispatched quickly to the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Ridgewood Avenue to manage the aftermath of the collision.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — While most families were gathered around the tree opening gifts on Christmas morning, the New Milford Volunteer Fire Department (NMFD) was rushing to the scene of a potentially devastating structure fire.
Oradell NJ, a multi-alarm fire broke out at a CareOne nursing home on Kinderkamack Road in Oradell on Saturday morning, February 15, prompting a large emergency response from multiple Bergen County fire departments.

River Edge NJ, on Friday, December 13, 2024, the River Edge Fire Department (REFD) responded swiftly to a reported gas odor on the 1000 block of Main Street. What began as a routine call quickly escalated into a significant emergency affecting the entire commercial complex.
Oradell NJ, two (2) passenger vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the scene of a Thursday afternoon, 05/09, crash in the parking lot of a medical office building on Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. A Toyota Camry involved in the crash was propelled into the multi-story brick building and came to rest on an inclined concrete ramp used for deliveries. Oradell Police and Oradell Fire Department responded to the injury-free incident.
River Edge NJ, on April 12 at approximately 2:05 pm, New Milford Fire Department was dispatched for a water rescue at the 100 block of New Bridge Road. New Milford Fire Chief 301 was first on scene along New Milford and River Edge Police. New Milford’s Marine 38 squad responded with their Boat and rescue team. Mutual aid from River Edge and Oradell Fire Departments responded with there rescue boats as well.
Paramus NJ, an early Saturday afternoon, 11/04, structure fire in the 300 block of Willard Road began in a microwave oven, and extended to kitchen cabinets and the home’s roof before Paramus FD firefighters gained complete control of it. An elderly resident of the home was reportedly rescued by a neighbor as the structure filled with smoke. Paramus EMTs evaluated the evacuee on the front lawn of a nearby home; it is uncertain if he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Oradell firefighters assisted Paramus Fire Department at the scene.
Paramus NJ, Macy’s in Paramus Park was the scene of a smokey, three (3) alarm, early Sunday afternoon, 10/01, fire involving several roof top mounted electrical transformers. Paramus firefighters were assisted by multiple fire, rescue, and EMS providers at the scene, and for “cover” purposes in empty Paramus fire houses. The fire appeared to come from three electrical transformers on the roof of Macy’s that caught fire. There was no report of damage to the store itself.
No injuries were reported in the blaze and damage appeared to have been contained to the department store’s roof area.

New Milford NJ, just before 6:20 this evening the New Milford NJ Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to a reported fire on the side of a home on Holly Street. Deputy 2 was first arriving and confirmed the fire on the alpha delta corner extending into the attic and requested the working fire assignment. Engine 32 was the first arriving engine company and quickly stretched 2 lines to the fire. Tower 31 started searching for victims. An additional alarm was transmitted at 6:25 to bring more resources to the scene. There were no injuries and the fire was placed under control just after 7:00.
Oradell NJ, Thursday evening, the Oradell fire department responded to the 300 block of Kinderkamack Road for a reported fire at Family Nails . Arriving companies encountered a working fire with a moderate smoke condition inside of a nail salon. The fire was quickly extinguished with no extension to adjoining stores. The cause has not yet been officially determined.
