Ridgewood NJ, contrary to the speculation current Bergen County Commissioner and former Ridgewood Mayor Ramon Hache is not entertaining taking the Village Manager job in Ridgewood . In a statement to the Ridgewood blog from Commissioner Hache, he said he decided not to run for reelection because he needed to take some time off to focus on his family . Hache said the family is his number one priority and the demands of county commissioner campaign would be to much at this time . He also expressed best wishes and the best of luck to the Village of Ridgewood in the search for a new Village Manager .

Ridgewood NJ, Jamboree 2023 was a roaring success! The kind of success you only see in….Fairy Tales! A big thank you to the cast and crew, directors, producers, attendees, and volunteers who spent countless hours rehearsing and performing. This year’s grand total? Our Ridgewood Board of Education members were in attendance to applaud the more than $228,000 raised!

Ridgewood NJ, Abraham Lincoln was born in Hardin County, Kentucky, on February 12 in 1809. He lived for a time in Indiana before moving to Illinois. He worked on a farm, split rails for fences, worked in a store, was a captain in the Black Hawk War, and worked as a lawyer. He married Mary Todd and together they had four boys, only one of whom lived to maturity.

This is an informal, brief meeting with two Village Councilmembers to discuss your thoughts, suggestions or concerns about the Village. Reservations will be taken for specific times for this event, by calling 201-670-5500 ext. 2207.All are welcome to attend, but those with reservations will be seen first.

Ridgewood NJ, the Village Council Meetings now have a hybrid format, with participants at remote locations, connecting to conferencing software provided by zoom.us or by telephone. Members of the public are invited to view meetings live using Zoom, which also allows them to “raise a hand” and contribute with voice and video when they are invited to do so during Public Comments, as well as during Public Hearings, during the meeting.
