Trenton NJ, During today’s meeting of the New Jersey Senate to consider legislation (S-3295) to reestablish a State tax incentive program, Senator Anthony M. Bucco (R-25) urged his colleagues to support an amendment to the bill that would include $300 million for emergency relief of small businesses and nonprofits struggling under the impact of COVID-19.

Trenton NJ, New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) released its 62nd annual Business Outlook Survey , The survey as expected showed a severe COVID-19 impact, an anticipated slow recovery and an overall dissatisfaction with NJ’s business climate.

In states that are booming like Texas, Florida or Tennessee, government works to lure new investment to their states. In New Jersey, the opposite is true. 9 out of 10 New Jersey Businesses surveyed feel that our state has made no progress in easing regulatory obstacles for business.

FREE PARKING IN RIDGEWOOD PARKING LOTS AND HUDSON STREET GARAGE ON DECEMBER 5th, 12th, and 19th

Ridgewood NJ, The Village Council has approved free parking, with a 3-hour limit, in all parking lots in the Central Business District and in the Hudson Street Garage, on the Saturdays leading up to Christmas, December 5th, 12th, and 19th.  Please be aware that the parking area at the intersection of Broad Street and East Ridgewood Avenue (where the Christmas tree is located) and the parking area on the west side, with the entrance by MacMurphy’s Restaurant, are not considered parking lots, and you must pay to park in these locations.  The main parking lot at the train station (with the majority of the parking spaces), going into the parking lot from the traffic light and turning left, is free parking.  In addition, if you park on the streets, you must pay to park.

March For Your Rights Rally to Support Small Business

Morristown NJ, on Sunday morning at 10am to 12pm the March For Your Rights peaceful protest was held.  The protests was held for the right  to run your business, go to work and go to school . The message is one of personal responsibility. Organizers asked attendees to please wear your mask and in the Gathering areas as well as along the March route, please wear your masks and practice social distancing to demonstrate that mandates are not required for people to act responsibly.
