Maywood NJ, on April 1st at approximately 16:06 hours, the Maywood Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 250 Maywood Avenue after a 911 caller reported heavy smoke coming from a house.
Maywood Police and Assistant Chief Gargagliano arrived on scene moments after dispatch and confirmed a working basement fire at 11 East Hunter Avenue. The working fire response brought mutual aid from Rochelle Park and Hackensack immediately to the scene. Maywood companies forced entry to the unoccupied house and advanced hose lines to extinguish the fire.
