Ridgewood NJ, the Federal Trade Commission is taking action against Intuit Inc., the maker of the popular TurboTax tax filing software, by issuing an administrative complaint against the company for deceiving consumers with bogus advertisements pitching “free” tax filing that millions of consumers could not use. In addition, to prevent ongoing harm to consumers rushing to file their taxes, the Commission also filed a federal district court complaint asking a court to order Intuit to halt its deceptive advertising immediately.

Heroin was discovered on his person during a search incident to arrest. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance & possession of drug paraphernalia, then handed over to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department.

Fair Lawn NJ, the Ridgewood blog had previously reported that on Sunday March 20th the Fair Lawn Police temporarily diverted traffic on Broadway East and 30th street because of a motor vehicle crash. Fair Lawn Police now report that at 8:26 pm Police Officer Anthony Ferreira, along with Officers, Pindyck, Cruz, Hearon, Boskovski, Roskowsky & Sgt. Wood, responded to Broadway at 30th Street on a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, they found the vehicle overturned on its side and the operator entrapped.

The operator driving this blue BMW struck another vehicle in the intersection. Instead of calling the police to report he was in an accident (yes you’re supposed to do that) he attempted to negotiate with the driver of the other car and then paid up with counterfeit U.S. currency.
