Glen Rock NJ, a FedEx delivery van became wedged underneath an office building on Harristown Road in Glen Rock for almost 3 1/2 hours on Monday, 08/09, causing significant damage to the building’s water driven fire suppression system. Glen Rock Police and Glen Rock Fire Department became aware of the mishap after responding to a central station monitored, “water flow detected,” automatic fire alarm notification at the address. The vehicle’s driver reportedly told arriving police officers that “at least I got a free car wash.” A tow truck operator had to remove all four (4) wheels from the vehicle in order to free it. No word from police on the scene as to whether any summonses would be issued in connection with the crash. The vehicle did not appear to have sustained damage that would have prevented it from being driven from the scene on its own power.

The Future of Cryptocurrency Is Being Decided in Biden’s Infrastructure Bill

Utah Software Engineer Mints Physical Bitcoins

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Washington DC, terrifying thought of the day,  the Senate’s new infrastructure bill may shape the future of cryptocurrency in the US. The bill promises public spending on major projects and it proposes taxes on crypto brokers to fund the projects. There are two competing amendments, one that exempts miners, hardware manufacturers, and developers, and another that only exempts proof-of-work cryptocurrencies. The definition of brokers in the original bill was so broad that anyone involved in cryptocurrency services would have to report to the IRS information on their customers, which would be impossible for most of the industry. The vote on the rival amendments is expected to take place on Saturday.

Also recall, buy bitcoin with credit card can be found on the Paybis website.

Bill of Rights Institute : We the Students Essay Contest Winning Essay 2019-2020

By Derek Jiang

On a hot summer Indian day in 1994, the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg rode an elephant together, smiling as they approached their quarters.1 Ginsburg, a Clinton appointee, championed gender equality in her majority opinion in U.S. v. Virginia. The Reagan appointed Scalia, on the other hand, fiercely opposed the ruling, arguing it created new Constitutional interpretations.2 Scalia called for the repeal of certain sections of the Voting Rights Act, under the premise that they violated the equal sovereignty of the states. When the courts finally did so in Shelby County v. Holder, Ginsburg dissented ferociously.3 Despite their vastly different interpretations of the law, the two justices were, in Ginsburg’s own words, “best buddies,” frequently attending operas together.4 Their views could not have been more apart, but they were one and the same in their respect for the Constitution and for each other.
