Williams Center in Rutherford to Stay Under Local Control

Trenton NJ, anti-mask protesters or “knuckleheads” as the Governor likes to call NJ citizens followed him most of the day on Saturday . The loud and large crowds even converged just outside Governor Murphy’s home . The latest round of protests were spurred on by Governor Murphy’s announced that all students, educators, staff, and visitors will be required to wear face masks indoors for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. The Governor signed Executive Order (EO) 251, which will mandate masking in the indoor premises of all public, private, and parochial preschool, elementary, and secondary school buildings, with limited exceptions. The EO is effective on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Election Integrity: 74% Of Voters Support Photo ID Requirement

Ridgewood NJ, Voters overwhelmingly believe it’s important to prevent cheating in elections and agree that requiring photo identification is a reasonable measure to ensure election integrity.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 90% of Likely U.S. Voters think it is important to prevent cheating in elections, including 79% who say it’s Very Important. Only seven percent (7%) of voters believe it’s not important to prevent election cheating. (To see survey question wording,Ā click here.)

Goffle Road southbound from Godwin Avenue to Lake Street/Wyckoff Avenue will be closed Monday through Friday 7am-4pm starting tomorrow 7/26 and continuing for 2 weeks possibly extending to 3 weeks. There will be limited access to Paterson Ave. and Van Blarcom Avenue. due to the detours. We strongly suggest avoiding the area entirely and find an alternate route if you use Goffle Road. Thank you!

Chris’s unmatched enthusiasm and energy was a beautiful thing to behold- a room full of children laughing, dancing, and shouting out song requests was a sight to brighten even the cloudiest day. Chris was a beloved performer and friend, and we hope that his legacy of putting smiles on faces will live on. Our thoughts are with his friends and family during this incredibly difficult time.”

Paramus NJ, Bergen County Mosquito Control will be performing an early morning Truck Spray throughout Paramus on Monday August 9, 2021 between the hours of 4-6 AM. They will be spraying duet adulticide to eliminate active, adult mosquitoes as well as Vectobac larvacide to help control the mosquito larvae. As a precaution, please keep your windows closed during the spraying. In the event that it rains, the spray will be postponed until the following day.
