Three beaches on Cape Cod were closed to swimming Friday after as many as six great white sharks were spotted feeding on a whale carcass.
The carcass later washed up near Noons Landing in North Truro. Noons Landing, Beach Point and Cold Storage beaches were declared off limits to swimmers.
DUBAI (Reuters) – Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have warned the public that “criminal groups propagating radical ideologies” could spread violent ideas and rebellious behaviour among young people through video gaming.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) issued the warning in a statement carried by the state news agency WAM late on Saturday. It urged parents to prevent teenagers from establishing relations with strangers through chat channels in games.
Criminal groups “are trying to recruit young people and adolescents through some electronic games”, WAM quoted Mohammed al-Zarooni, the TRA’s director for policy and programmes, as saying.

Ridgewood NJ, YWCA Bergen County now offers “Music and Movement Fitness Class”, a special needs program for children ages 6 through 12 years. This class is designed for children with intellectual and development delays, including autism, with self-help skills to independently participate.
Music and movement are stimulating for children’s physical, emotional and intellectual growth and can positively impact their educational experience. This program is designed to keep children focused and engaged by involving them with exercise, musical instruments, puppets, drumming and parachute play.
Instructor Lisa Powers, aka Lisa La La, has been designing and teaching children’s music and physical fitness programs since 2001 in preschools, daycares and public schools throughout Bergen County. She holds a B.S. in Music Business from NYU.

Aronson left us these problems and we need to deal with them now, ourselves. How much money is too much to unravel what was done? Besides, this is not a witch hunt – – this is a targeted effort to try and determine the truth of repeated allegations of improper favoritism in Village life. There is a reason there is a law on the books that allows the council to conduct this inquiry. This is exactly the situation where an investigation is required.
Until all the other Ridgewood problems are solved (Habernickle, high density housing, garage and most of all,Valley!) I can’t see the Village spending one cent on the library. It is already huge for a town this size and it has an auditorium that it rents out. (Check into how often it is rented and that will show you a need for maybe something extra on Sundays when they entertain but it is certainly not being put to daily usage. Why would one think the Arts Center would be any busier?

Yes if someone can confirm that would be great. It is not shocking that it happened since habernickel park is now filled with healthbarn private clients. By this I mean children paying healthbarn directly. Not Ridgewood. Yet Roberta calls it a partnership. Yet it is just a tenant/ landlord relationship. No reports of profits from healthbarns business coming to Ridgewood parks and rec. I hope because of her ” so called ” partnership Stacy doesn’t advise her client to sue Ridgewood too!
Offer developers incentives to build public parking

I get frustrated beyond belief whenever any member of the Village Council mentions all of the public parking spaces that will be permanently “lost” when the Brogan and Ken Smith properties are both fully developed (portions of both properties are now configured as surface parking lots and provide public parking to commuters and/or employees of CBD located businesses).
Yes; parking spaces will be lost during construction, but they don’t necessarily have to be lost permanently if someone on the Village Council would heed to my suggestion of offering incentives, in the form of tax abatements, exemptions, or reductions, to any developers who incorporate a public parking component into their development plans.
Believe me, if it were financially advantageous for a developer to incorporate a public parking deck/garage into their plans, they would rush to do so in a flash. Money talks, nobody walks.
So let’s get with it Village Council members – how about picking up the phone today and calling J. T. Bolger, Ned Cancelmo, John Saraceno, and Mike Smith to see what they have to say?

Hillary Clinton recklessly discussed, in emails hosted on her private server, an Iranian nuclear scientist who was executed by Iran for treason, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said Sunday.
