NJ Business Man Nets $2.7M Selling Unregistered Pesticides to Multiple US Government Agencies to Fight COVID-19

Maple Shade NJ, a Burlington County, New Jersey, man today admitted selling $2.7 million worth of pesticides he claimed were registered with the Environmental Protection Agency as being effective against coronavirus, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger and Assistant Attorney General Todd Kim of the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, announced.
CDC : Three out of Every five people in the U.S. Have Antibodies from a Previous Covid-19 Infection

Ridgewood NJ, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported on Tuesday that three out of every five people in the U.S. now have antibodies from a previous Covid-19 infection with the proportion even higher among children. The proportion of people with natural Covid antibodies increased substantially from about 34% of the population in December to about 58% in February during the unprecedented wave of infection driven by the highly contagious omicron variant. The CDC’s analysis didn’t factor in people who had antibodies from vaccination.

West Long Branch NJ, Support for face mask and social distancing guidelines in New Jersey has dropped significantly since the fall. Less than half of the state supports workplace vaccine mandates according to the Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll. Concern about Covid illness is at an all-time low as many report having been infected with the virus themselves. The poll also finds New Jerseyans give good grades to the governor and the state as a whole for handling the pandemic.

Trenton NJ, Senator Anthony M. Bucco said it’s time for Governor Phil Murphy to restore all State government services and staffing to pre-pandemic levels. Monday’s case total was the lowest so far since the first known case of the omicron variant was reported in New Jersey on Dec. 3. It was also the fourth time in February that fewer than 1,000 cases were reported by the state.
