Hackensack Fire Department Responds to Smoke Condition at Hackensack University Medical Center

Hackensack NJ, early Thursday morning, the City of Hackensack Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Hackensack University Medical Center. At 6:38 a.m., dispatch received a call from Gamewell box #148 at 30 Prospect Avenue, indicating an activated fire alarm at the medical center. Fire crews from Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 4, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, and Deputy 4 were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Man Charged in Multi-Vehicle Fire at Bergen County Academies in Hackensack With Arson

Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 26-year-old PATRICK A. FEARON, currently homeless and formerly of Hackensack, NJ on charges of aggravated arson, arson, burglary, criminal mischief, and failure to control or report a dangerous fire. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton.
