Hackensack NJ, In a heartfelt and emotional decision, Hackensack Board of Education President Scott James-Vickery announced his resignation Wednesday, citing years of relentless bullying and harassment by teachers union surrogates targeting him and his family. The announcement came during the board’s final meeting of the year, marking an end to James-Vickery’s tenure that began in 2019.
Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 45-year-old JOSE F. FAJARDO of Hackensack, NJ on charges of aggravated criminal sexual contact, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Antista.

Hackensack NJ, in the late hours of December 2, 2024, a fire broke out at a three-story boarding house on Euclid Avenue in Hackensack, leaving more than a dozen residents temporarily displaced. The quick and coordinated response from the City of Hackensack Fire Department ensured that the blaze was contained to the third floor and attic, with no injuries reported.
