The annual breakfast event, coordinated by senior and West Point-bound Katie Dickson, honors our local veterans, providing wonderful conversation, a student-made breakfast, and a wall tribute to local veterans created by Ms. Dickson.

Ridgewood’s Remarkable Season Ends with Loss in the State Final

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood’s remarkable season concluded in the Group 4 State Final against Freehold Township, finishing with an impressive 17-2-2 record and securing a third consecutive sectional title championship. Despite this success, they faced a 3-0 defeat in the Group State Finals, marking only their second loss of the season and the third in the past two years, with two defeats against the Patriots. Coach Kay emphasized that the loss doesn’t hurt more than losing to any other team. The 2023 season showcased Ridgewood’s continued dominance in the Big North Conference since the COVID-affected 2020 year. The Maroons have consistently triumphed in the sectional finals since 2021 and made consecutive appearances in the state final. Wait till next year !

Ridgewood NJ, Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl kicker and RHS alumni Younghoe Koo had his first encounter with a football not until middle school. Born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1994, Koo’s upbringing centered around soccer, and he even clinched victory in a regional kicking competition in Korea.

Ridgewood Crew Closes Out the Fall Season with a Gold and Four Top Three Finishes at the Hidden River Chase

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Crew took home a gold medal to finish out its 2023 fall regatta season at the Hidden River Chase, a 4,150-meter head course race on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The meet, hosted by the Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association, was open to high school athletes from ninth through 12th grade, and attracted 217 entries from 28 clubs.
