The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the River Edge Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Walker.

The charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the River Edge Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Walker.

River Edge NJ, A former broker and investment advisor from Bergen County, New Jersey, was arrested today for allegedly stealing more than $2.86 million from five clients in order to pay for personal expenses, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig announced.

River Edge NJ, an undetonated pipe bomb was found next to a NJ Transit bus stop located at the intersection of Howland Avenue and Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, on Thursday afternoon, 07/29. The device was successfully removed from the scene by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad. Bomb Squad technicians deployed a remote controlled robot and a trailer mounted containment chamber to safely manage the vessel. At least one (1) building in a nearby garden apartment complex was evacuated in connection with the incident. An elderly male evacuee was assessed by Emergency Medical Technicians at the scene after he complained of fatigue and exhaustion. He refused ambulance transportation to a local hospital.
