Village Council Regular Public Meeting Agenda
Village Council meetings are now available with participants at remote locations, connecting to conferencing software provided by zoom.us or by telephone.
Members of the public are invited to view meetings live using Zoom, which also allows them to “raise a hand” and contribute with voice and video when they are invited to do so during Public Comments as well as during Public Hearings during the meeting. - However, West Virginia couples are the happiest (90%).

Ridgewood NJ, movies and fairytales tend to teach us that once those wedding bells have run, it’s happily ever after for the couple. However, it turns out that it’s not just a fantasy – according to a survey commissioned by Mixbook and carried out by QuestionPro, 88% of married couples in Minnesots reported being blissfully happy in their relationships.

Ridgewood NJ, Since taking office in January of this year, one of Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos’ many official duties has been to preside over all open public meetings of the Ridgewood Village Council, including managing the public comment segments of those meetings.

Ridgewood NJ, for those of you who wish to look at the Paul Vagianos Mayor Facebook page, you will now be able to see all the comments that citizens write in response to Mr. Mayor’s self-aggrandizing posts. This was not the case until midday on Thursday April 6. Prior to that, our mayor, who is supposedly an attorney, was circumnavigating the law by selectively hiding comments that did not fit his prescribed narrative of what a great guy he is.

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police Department has seen a significant uptick in reports of fraud involving identify theft and scam schemes (phone, email, and in-person). We recommend that all our residents stay vigilant by monitoring their credit activity and to use extreme caution when dealing with parties attempting to receive a payment for any purpose. Before sending any payment, it is recommended to confirm with the company or agency directly if there is in fact a balance due.

Ridgewood Police Report Multiple Catalytic Converter Thefts on 3/27 – 3/28

Ridgewood NJ, on March 28th, the Ridgewood Police Department received reports of catalytic converter thefts from residents on Corsa Terrace and Lincoln Avenue. The crimes occurred overnight on 3/27 – 3/28. The Ridgewood Police Detective Bureau is investigating the incidents.
