Washington DC, The Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation today announced key reforms that will empower the FBI to build a more robust internal compliance program and that will ensure, among other things, the accuracy of FISA applications, as well as the active oversight of applications targeting federal elected officials, candidates for federal elected office, and their staffs.
Washington DC, U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 7th congressional district, Democrat Tom Malinowski’s disregard for the law fits right in with his party’s reckless, anti-law enforcement message in Congress.
Washington DC, Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith will plead guilty to making a false statement in the first criminal case arising from U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review of the investigation into links between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign, two sources close to the matter tell Fox News.
Clinesmith was referred for potential prosecution by the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which conducted its own review of the Russia investigation.
Specifically, the inspector general accused Clinesmith, though not by name, of altering an email about former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page to say that he was “not a source” for another government agency. Page has said he was a source for the CIA. The DOJ relied on that assertion as it submitted a third and final renewal application in 2017 to eavesdrop on Page under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
To be clear, as soon as this FISA surveillance warrant was granted, the FBI, under the control of President Barack Obama, had access to the entire Trump campaign.
President Trump said on Twitter, “Kevin Clinesmith, “a corrupt FBI attorney who falsified FISA warrants” in James Comey’s FBI, is expected to plead guilty.”
Washington DC, President Trump took action earlier today to prevent Americans from being displaced by foreign workers and offshore labor using federal dollars. In a new executive order the President combats the misuse of H-1B visas, which too often have been exploited to replace qualified U.S. workers with lower-cost foreign ones. President Trump is directing all federal agencies to focus on hiring Americans for lucrative federal contracts, and it requires that only U.S. citizens be appointed to the government’s competitive service.
Washington DC, The Producer Price Index for final demand fell 0.2 percent in June, seasonally adjusted, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. This decrease followed a 0.4-percent increase in May

WASHINGTON DC, President Donald Trump looking to follow hiring practices of the private sector signed an executive order on Friday that will overhaul the government’s hiring practices to prioritize a job applicant’s skills over a college degree. The federal government is the nation’s largest employer with 2.1 million civilian workers, excluding postal service employees.
Washington DC, Attorney General William P. Barr on the Nomination of Jay Clayton to Serve as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York
Attorney General William P. Barr has released the following statement:
“I am pleased to announce that President Trump intends to nominate Jay Clayton, currently the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, to serve as the next United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. For the past three years, Jay has been an extraordinarily successful SEC Chairman, overseeing efforts to modernize regulation of the capital markets, protect Main Street investors, enhance American competitiveness, and address challenges ranging from cybersecurity issues to the COVID-19 pandemic. His management experience and expertise in financial regulation give him an ideal background to lead the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and he will be a worthy successor to the many historic figures who have held that post. On behalf of the President, I thank Jay for accepting this nomination, and I look forward to working with him soon.
Washington DC. The Supreme Court ruled Monday that the key federal law prohibiting discrimination in the workplace protects gay, lesbian or transgender employees from being disciplined, fired or turned down for a job based on their sexual orientation.
Washington DC, in what can only be called “Cultural Appropriation” at its worst Democrat lawmakers including Nancy Pelosi , Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris, and New Jersey’s own Cory Booker took a knee in the Capitol building for a photo op in an attempt to show solidarity with the black community over the death of George Floyd wearing Kente cloth. .
“There is more Kente fabric in this picture than at a Ghanaian traditional wedding,” pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha said. And went on to say on twitter,”I had to say something about the American politicians shameless and ignorantly using the Kente fabric as a prop in their virtue signaling.”
Washington DC, during remarks given by Attorney General William P. Barr’s Remarks on Mr. George Floyd and Civil Unrest, the Attorney General said ,” evidence that Antifa and other similar extremist groups, as well as actors of a variety of different political persuasions, have been involved in instigating and participating in the violent activity. We are also seeing foreign actors playing all sides to exacerbate the violence.”
Washington DC, The United States Park Police (USPP) is committed to the peaceful expression of First Amendment rights. However, this past weekend’s demonstrations at Lafayette Park and across the National Mall included activities that were not part of a peaceful protest, which resulted in injuries to USPP officers in the line of duty, the destruction of public property and the defacing of memorials and monuments. During four days of demonstrations, 51 members of the USPP were injured; of those, 11 were transported to the hospital and released and three were admitted.
Washington DC, The FBI respects the rights of individuals to peacefully exercise their First Amendment rights. Our mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution is dual and simultaneous, not contradictory.
Washington DC, Attorney General William P. Barr has issued the following statement:
“With the rioting that is occurring in many of our cities around the country, the voices of peaceful and legitimate protests have been hijacked by violent radical elements. Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate, violent, and extremist agenda.
Washington DC, on a call earlier today the president told governors earlier that many of them were appearing “weak.”
National Guard troops were deployed near the White House Monday evening hours after President Donald Trump said he wanted a military show of force against violent protests gripping the nation. Shortly after, Trump came to the White House Rose Garden to call himself the “law and order” president, saying “domestic terrorism” was to blame for the unrest. “We will it end it now,” Trump said, calling on governors to “dominate the streets.” Saying we are a nation of laws, the President repeated hat he would deploy the United States active duty military if governors failed to use the National Guard more forcefully.
