Wallington NJ, An ordinary Memorial Day evening in Bergen County turned into an active arson investigation after a classic sports car was intentionally set ablaze.

On Monday, May 25, 2026, at approximately 7:44 p.m., Wallington police and firefighters rushed to the vicinity of Lincoln Place following urgent reports of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a 2004 Ford Mustang completely engulfed in flames.

Fort Lee NJ, A joint investigation between New Jersey and New York authorities has led to the arrest of a 43-year-old Bronx man in connection with a suspicious vehicle fire that occurred in the early hours of March 18, 2026.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that Deszon J. Moore now faces multiple felony charges, including second-degree aggravated arson, following a coordinated effort by the Bergen County Arson Task Force and the NYPD.

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Lyndhurst Police Department, under the direction of Chief Richard Jarvis.
