Hackensack NJ, Bergen County’s Republican Commissioner candidates are kicking off their fall campaign with a direct voter contact initiative in August by conducting a door-to-door campaign in key municipalities in the county.
op-ed from Bergen County GOP Chairman Jack DeLorenzo
Whomever wins the June 10 Republican gubernatorial primary, it is incumbent for all New Jersey Republicans to put aside old grievances and unite behind the GOP nominee. Any Republican would be better in the governor’s mansion than all the Democrat candidates. If the Democrats win the gubernatorial election, NJ’s economy will continue to shrink, entrepreneurs will continue to move out, young couples will continue to look towards other states to raise families, senior citizens will continue to move out of state to retire, and the cost of living will continue to skyrocket.

The story unfolding in Bergen County, New Jersey, presents a complex set of flawed characters, specifically, Chairman Jack Zisa. With more than a decade of hopeless campaigns, embarrassing county losses and most recently, being found guilty of Election Law violations, the question arises: Is Zisa masterminding a structured demise of the GOP in Bergen, for his own personal gain, or is he a clueless participant in a larger scheme orchestrated by the Democrat party in Bergen?
Hackensack NJ,with nothing left to lose Jack Zisa is stepping down from his position as head of the party and has thrown his support behind Jack DeLorenzo of Hasbrouck Heights to succeed him.
Mahwah NJ, the Mahwah Municipal Chair and the GOP Club President are formally calling out Bergen County Republican Organization (BCRO) Chairman Jack Zisa, and his Organization for their controversial and seemingly discriminatory intervention in the candidate selection process for the primary elections this June. In a shocking deviation from established protocol, Chairman Zisa has rejected all 18 contested candidates recommended by the Mahwah Municipal Chair, and nearly 100 across the entire County, prompting serious concerns of a personal vendetta, gender bias, anti-Semitism, and a blatant disregard for the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Westwood NJ, what do Bergen County Mayors, Carlos Rendo (Woodcliff Lake), Mike Ghassali (Montvale), John Glidden (Closter), Dan Pronti (North Arlington), Daniele Fede (Bogota), Ray Arroyo (Westwood), and a few others, all have in common? They are Republican Mayors in towns with more registered Democrats than Republicans. In fact, in Bergen County, where registered Democrats far outnumber Republicans, there are more Republicans serving as Mayors and Council than there are Democrats! While this might seem counterintuitive, it makes a great deal of sense.

“Entrepreneur. Small Businesswoman. Fiscal Conservative. Loyal.
These are the qualities that Linda T. Barba possesses and that is why I am backing her candidacy to be the next Bergen County Executive.
For years, and especially in the aftermath of COVID-19, Linda has spent day in and day out supporting and promoting local small businesses. She understands that the backbone of Bergen County is not comprised of career politicians and their out of county cronies, but of the men and women who work each and every day in small businesses throughout this great County. In my opinion, Linda is the ideal person to be the Republican Party’s standard bearer heading into this year’s election.
With nearly every provisional vote counted across all four counties in New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District, it is time to turn the page on the 2020 election cycle and look ahead. A deficit of 17 percentage points on election night, was quickly reduced by more than 60% to approximately 7½ % today. The decision I made more than 19 months ago, to run for Federal office as an outsider and a first-time candidate, was the best and most rewarding decision I’ve ever made.

“We are sending a clear message to Josh Gottheimer and the Democratic establishment that we will fight as hard as we can to take back this seat. Josh has failed the people of the district with his lies and flip flopping on issues.” Stated Ghassali. “His vote to impeach the President shows he is kept on a short leash by Nancy Pelosi and that he is not the moderate that he claims to be.”
