80% of Small Business are Still Waiting for Financial Assistance Loans

Ridgewood NJ, The NFIB Research Center released a survey today on the small business loan programs. Small business owners were asked about the Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan on April 17, the day after the programs ran out of money. About 20% of submitted applications have been fully processed with funds deposited in the borrower’s account, but 80% of respondents said they are still waiting, and many do not know where they are in the application process.

Restaurant Industry Has Lost Two-Thirds of Workforce

“During the Covid-19 crisis, our staff has worked very hard to keep one another safe. As a team, we are protecting one another so that we are healthy and able to come into the pharmacy and prepare your medications. While we do miss our patients, we have felt that our closed door/curbside pick-up policy was necessary to protect the integrity of the medications we prepare.
We had fun with our “sippy PPE”. During this season of Easter/Passover, we wanted to have us all raise a glass in celebration of life and to a future of getting back to normal!!! Please note, we included one of our home-workers on Ben’s cell phone !!!

Ridgewood NJ, On Sunday 4/5/2020 there was a major structure fire at Bagelicious in the central business district and thankfully firefighters were able to rescue a resident that was trapped in their apartment and they are going to be okay. In the midst of this large scale event, water was flowing into the basement of @ridgewoodcycle and once this was realized firefighters were able to mitigate the problem and get the water out of their basement.

It is time America went back to work. People want to work. We understand that self-sufficiency and meaningful employment is part of the good life — the American dream.

Medical leaders have advised us to distance ourselves from each other and to lock ourselves into our homes. The vast majority of the country has undertaken these measures and heeded the counsel regarding improving our hygienic habits.

Lisa’s Mediterranean Cuisine Closes for One Week

Dear friends, family and valued customers,

As many of you know this is the third week we have been adamantly providing meals for our health care workers through our own volition.

However It is time for me to listen to my own kids and follow their advice on staying home. When they told me “we only have one parent, you “is when the severity of the situation hit . They gave me no choice.
Now is not the time to risk anything for the sake of my kids.
We decided to shut Lisa’s Mediterranean cuisine for a week.

Urgent business, employee relief package Needed for New Jersey

MIDLAND PARK NJ,  In light of a business survey that found 45 percent of employers would close within three weeks, and over 83 percent within 11 weeks, Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips said he will work on providing state-level relief for businesses. He says the best way to start is ensuring current-year income will last beyond the pandemic.
