Glen Rock NJ, a Glen Rock man was taken to the hospital last week after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street, according to local police.
Old Tappan NJ, according to Police Chief Joseph Tracy, a father and his two young children were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Old Tappan on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. when Old Tappan police officer Nicholas Antonucci, stationed at the school grounds, received reports of the accident on Charles Place near Kay Street. Officer Antonucci promptly responded and discovered the three victims on the ground.

Installing crosswalk signals and encouraging individuals to use the push button signals at key intersections, such as the one at Linwood Avenue. and Fairfield Avenue, is an important step in ensuring the safety of pedestrians.

On Tuesday we notices somewhere north of 25 cars flying through the crosswalk Infront of the Ridgewood Library and Ridgewood Police Station with in a 10 minute period . Would have made a ticket bonanza for the Village .
Glen Rock NJ, Mayor Kristine Morieko, Councilwoman Mary Barchetto and Chief Dean Ackermann tested out the new Rectangular Rapid-Flashing Beacons (RRFB) located on Maple Ave at the Ambulance Building/Wilde Park. RRFBs are used to enhance the visibility of standard pedestrian and school crossing warning signs at uncontrolled marked crosswalks.

Fair lawn NJ, A pedestrian was struck by a passenger car at the intersection of Saddle River Road and Van Duren Avenue in Fair Lawn shortly after 8 PM on Thursday, 12/17. The adult male victim was transported by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center with a non-life threatening head injury.

The driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police investigators. It appeared as though the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the incident; a light rain was falling at the time. Fair Lawn PD and EMS responded, along with a paramedic unit from The Valley Hospital.
