Ridgewood NJ, Van Dyk’s Ice Cream, is open once again. On February 29th one of our favorite ice cream shops reopened its doors for the season in Ridgewood . The current hours are 11am -9pm .
Many insist its best ice cream in Bergen County if not all of the northern new jersey area. Van Dyk’s Ice Cream is home made, old school ice cream. The Portions are large and plentiful. Van Dyk’s Ice Cream is an institution in Ridgewood .

A longtime favorite of this Blog and of Ridgewood Mayor Hache , Van Dyk’s has many classic flavors . Mayor Hache paid a visit to Van Dyk’s to pick up his first dose of Salted Caramel Truffle in 2019

Ice Cream by Mike offers a rotating selection of flavors crafted using the best possible ingredients like Valrhona chocolate and Tahitian vanilla beans. Mike uses only the finest fresh and when he can local ingredients .If you follow Mike’s social media you will see the current specials and you can signup to receive updates on limited edition releases! Ridgewood NJ, Ice Cream by Mike formerly of Hackensack will be heading for a new location in Ridgewood 305 East Ridgewood Ave , Ridgewood. According to a Facebook post opening hopefully April 1 2018.
