This is an especially active time for deer in our area, which causes the animals to wander into roadways throughout the day. Ridgewood NJ, 9/11 remembrances were held across Bergen county . The Village of Ridgewood lost 12 neighbors on that day and the Village of Ridgewood hosted a 9/11 remembrance to remember and honor all those tragically lost on 9/11 at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square .

Goffle Road southbound from Godwin Avenue to Lake Street/Wyckoff Avenue will be closed Monday through Friday 7am-4pm starting tomorrow 7/26 and continuing for 2 weeks possibly extending to 3 weeks. There will be limited access to Paterson Ave. and Van Blarcom Avenue. due to the detours. We strongly suggest avoiding the area entirely and find an alternate route if you use Goffle Road. Thank you!

Ridgewood NJ, as the weather gets warmer it is important to remember that Stage II restrictions (2 days per week irrigation) were imposed in June 2016 and are still in effect in Glen Rock, Midland Park, Ridgewood and Wyckoff. Without these restrictions, the use of drinking water for irrigation will continue increasing toward levels that are unsustainable regardless of drought conditions. To reverse this trend, an ordinance was approved by the Village Council on April 12, 2017 to amend the provisions governing Watering and Water Emergencies in the Village of Ridgewood Code. Midland Park NJ, On Monday, January 18th several locations of Code Ninjas in Bergen County will be hosting events for students. Code Ninjas of Midland Park will host a free MLK Coding Workshop Day with three one-hour workshops to be held at 10:00am, 11:30am and 1:00pm. The coding workshops are appropriate for children ages 7 to 10 years old. Children will experience creative and analytical challenges and opportunities as they build, mod, and create ‘Minecraft’ like games in Scratch. Participants will be able to choose their own characters and actions inside the games and learn to control and manipulate those characters.
