West Trenton NJ, The New Jersey State Police announces the release of their 2025 “Most Wanted” list of fugitives. The list, compiled by the New Jersey State Police – Fugitive Unit, contains thirteen (13) New Jersey’s “Most Wanted” violent fugitives. It is headlined by the most wanted fugitive, Joanne Chesimard, who is wanted for escaping from a New Jersey correctional institution in 1979, where she was serving a life sentence for the May 2, 1973, murder of Trooper Werner Foerster #2608.

New Jersey Drone Mystery Sparks Concern and Calls for Action

Ridgewood NJ, Residents and officials across New Jersey are grappling with an unusual mystery: the repeated sightings of large drones in the skies over central and northern parts of the state. These unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), spotted since mid-November, have prompted a flurry of concerns, from public safety to national security.

The Village is aware that drones have been sighted over Ridgewood, and the Police Department has reported all sightings to both county and federal agencies through the proper reporting chains. As information becomes available, it will be shared with residents.
