Were they responding to the same call at speed, one on East Glen, one on North Van Dien? No wonder the two officers were transported to the hospital–the impact must have been tremendous. Ridgewood NJ, Two (2) Ridgewood Police patrol vehicles collided at the intersection of East Glen Avenue and North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood on Sunday afternoon, 09/02. The two (2) drivers, uniformed Ridgewood Police officers, were transported to The Valley Hospital for evaluation and possible treatment. Both officers were conscious and alert following the crash and exited their respective vehicles without assistance. Ridgewood Fire Department, Ridgewood EMS, and Ridgewood Emergency Services personnel also responded to the incident.
