The arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the New York City Police Department.
Fire Fighters Rescue Occupant in Teaneck Apartment Fire

Teaneck NJ, on January 2nd, members of the Teaneck Fire Department 2nd Platoon responded to 34 State Street, on a reported fire on the 5th floor, with a possible occupant still inside. First arriving units were able to confirm no occupants were in the apartment.
Because of the high life safety risk, Englewood Fire and City of Hackensack Fire Department Ladders were requested to the scene. Members put the aerial to the roof to assist with ventilating the top floor fire. Englewood Fire Truck 2 and Car 4 operated for approximately one hour.
