Crews will be using an innovative process to clean water mains and improve water quality and pressure in your area. The technology includes creating a loop between two fire hydrants and pumping water through the loop at a high velocity, scouring the inside of the main. The water is continually circulated through the loop and filtered until it meets all standards. Unlike traditional flushing, where hydrants are opened up and tens of thousands of gallons of water are released, our process doesn’t waste water.
The result: Better water quality and no waste of a precious resource. Please call our customer service representatives at 800-422-5987 if you have any questions or concerns regarding this work.
